Feel comfortable taking your kayak for a drive next time you use our Standard kayak kit. This affordable transportation option allows you to find the water in one piece, and when you're done for the day, simply put the kit back in the re-usable tote bag.Sometimes you just need to transport a kayak a small distance--either home from the store or to a close-by river. Enter the Malone standard kayak kit, which includes everything you need to haul a lightweight kayak on occasional short trips.

The kit's pair of 12-inch EVA foam blocks are ideal for short trips.

The kayak kit comes with two universal-fit, 12-inch, non-skid laminate foam blocks to cushion the kayak in place, along with a 15-foot over-hull strap and bow and stern S-hook tie-downs. The blocks are built with V-shaped cutouts, ensuring a great fit for every kayak. The tie-downs, meanwhile, fit to the front and rear of your vehicle. (The kit also works with round, square, or factory oval cross rails.) Finally, the kit comes with a carrying case for easy storage.

Note: Malone recommends that users not put the 12-inch blocks directly on the rooftop, as the concentrated weight of the kayak may dent the roof.
