Unlike many economy designs that use expanded metal that sags and requires assembly, the Hitch Witch uses a single piece, all-welded platform manufactured with heavy-gauge wire mesh that is welded in over 1000 points. The platform requires no assembly and provides a super-strong rigid design for any recreational, residential or commercial application. The all-welded frame is a 3" high, 1/8" thick steel design with (12) ¾" diameter pre-punched holes to accept any size straps or tie downs. The support bar is an offset design that is raised 2" to allow the platform to ride level with the bumper of your vehicle giving you maximum ground clearance and eliminating the dragging problem of traditional straight support bar designs. The same support bar installs with just 2 bolts and also provides a full 6" of adjustability forward and back for added clearance for spare tires, rear doors or oversized bumpers. Our standard finish is an industrial-grade electro-galvanized plating that will not rust, chip or flake off even after years of use and is far superior to any powder coat finish.
